American Cultures and Global Contexts Center and the Department of Asian American Studies presents a: Pedagogy Workshop with Professor James Kyung-Jin Lee
Join us for a workshop on pedagogies of care and their enactment in the classroom. This will be an experience in reconceptualization and practice aimed at discussing and revising syllabi, lesson plans, and other classroom materials. Please register in advance as there will be a limited number of spots available.
James Kyung-Jin Lee is Professor of Asian American Studies and English, and Director of the Center for Medical Humanities at the University of California, Irvine. He is the author of Pedagogies of Woundedness: Illness, Memoir, and the Ends of the Model Minority (2021) and Urban Triage: Race and the Fictions of Multiculturalism (2004).
