About this Event
View mapNTFF on Saturday starts with an Industry Panel (names & topic to come) at The Leta, 5650 Calle Real from 10 - 11am. This is free and open to the public.
The NTFF checkered flag drops at 11:30 am when the films begin rolling at the Fairview Theatre with the first of five short blocks scheduled throughout the day and five features to span the globe and all its elements and animals. Humans included! We hope you've gotten your Full Festival Pass ($200) to take in all there is to offer in Goleta and Los Olivos. Single tickets are $12, Four and Six Packs of tickets are on sale as well.
The next day, Sunday, begins with a Field Trip to Lake Los Carneros for a docent-led bird-watching walk from 8 - 9am. Meet in the parking lot by 8:45am. From 10 - 11am the Filmmaker Panel will happen at The Leta from 10 - 11am.
Films begin unspooling at 11:30am and wrap up with last film "Cactus Hotel" at 5:10pm. A fun and fascinating look at one Saguaro cactus - from seedling to death - over a 200-year period. We meet all its' inhabitants who use it, yeah, like a hotel. Delightful film!
Then it's back to The Leta for the awards ceremony. Our Lead Sponsor The Land Trust for SB County will present the two audience choice awards - for feature length and short docs.
Tickets start at $12, more information on event and tickets can be found at https://naturetrackfilmfestival.org/tickets/
