Directed by Scott Marcus, the UCSB Music of India Ensemble will present North Indian classical music for sitar and tabla on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 7:30 pm in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall at the UC Santa Barbara campus.

The concert will feature performances on sitar-s and tabla-s:
First, the 1st-year students will present rag Bhupali. Then, the advanced students will present rag Bageshri. We are especially excited to include a performance of kathak
(North Indian classical dance) by Esha Shrivastava.
