As the current Senior Manager of Inclusive Marketing at Twitch, Bridget Kyeremateng '13 executes campaigns that amplify underserved communities on the platform. Born in Italy to Ghanaian parents, Bridget spent 15 years as an undocumented immigrant in the U.S., inspiring her career in highlighting intersectional talent from Spotify to Tumblr, and now at Twitch. As a recent Forbes 30 under 30 listee, Bridget has significantly impacted the marketing industry, working on high-stakes productions for Nestle, leading social impact campaigns at Tumblr with brands such as Huffpost and Makers Army. Leading Spotify's marketing campaigns working with various talents such as Big Freedia, Jason Mraz, and Kali Uchis, and reimagining Twitch's inclusive marketing efforts, Bridget knows no bounds to storytelling. A vivacious public speaker, Bridget's TedX Speech about her undocumented experience as a Black woman in the United States, demonstrates her undying passion and goal to share stories of those who deserve to be heard. Bridget is a published Forbes author, with articles in OkayAfrica, Novella, Salty, and Driven Society, and has been featured in Afropunk, Adweek, and NYU Stern School of Business. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with degrees in Black Studies and Feminist Studies and currently resides in Brooklyn.
