Spearheaded and organized by Chemistry Professional Development (ChemPD), a graduate student-led organization, the 7th annual Chemical Sciences & Engineering Career Symposium is a premier two-day event for UC Santa Barbara researchers. This student-driven platform connects graduate students and postdoctoral researchers with industry professionals to share research, build valuable connections, and explore diverse career paths.

The symposium is presented in close partnership with the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering. This event is made possible through the generous support of key sponsors, including Dow, Amgen, The Clorox Company, CNSI, and the TACO (Training and Community Outreach) Grant.

Day 1: 2025 Dow Chemistry Career Symposium
Features the Chemistry keynote seminar (Heeger Lecture), company booths, an industry discussion panel, a poster session, and on-site interviews.

Day 2: 2025 Amgen-Clorox Graduate Student Symposium
Features talks by senior graduate students, a graduate student poster session, the ChemE keynote seminar, a student-industry mixer, and an evening awards ceremony.
